BISMARCK, ND – Hoping to beat the potential for late afternoon/early evening rain showers, the University of Mary home baseball game on Tuesday, April 16, against Minot State University will now start a little earlier than originally scheduled. First pitch for the Northern Sun doubleheader is now set for 12:50 pm at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.
The games were originally slated to begin at 1:30 pm.
Both games of the NSIC twin bill will be aired statewide on BEK Sports. The broadcast begins at 12:45 pm and can be viewed on BEK via local cable providers on BEK Sports and on KNDB/KNDM in western North Dakota and KRDK in eastern North Dakota. The Marauders enter the game with a record of 12-20 overall and 8-12 in the NSIC. UMary is currently eighth in the NSIC standings. The top eight teams qualify for the conference tournament. Defending conference champion Minot State is 21-12 and 14-6 (5
