BISMARCK, ND – Dante Springsteen and Austin Eichmann highlighted the University of Mary's efforts against #6 Upper Iowa as they claimed the Marauders only two match wins in a 28-6 loss to the Peacocks. Springsteen and Eichmann both won their bouts by decision.
 
Dante Springsteen proved he can hang with the best of the best, taking down #4 Brock Benitz in the 165 lbs bout. Springsteen used a pair of takedowns to earn a 6-1 win over his nationally ranked opponent.
 
Austin Eichmann earned a 2-1 win for the Marauders in the 174 class. It was an escape in the second period that put Eichmann up one and allowed him to claim victory.
 
The Peacocks were able to earn four wins by major decision, three by decision, and one by sudden victory as they took down the Marauders.
 
UMary won't have to wait long to hop back into action. The Marauders head to Moorhead, MN tomorrow, December 8 to compete in the Dragon Open.
