Tuesday basketball doubleheader against Yellowstone tips off at 5:30 pm

BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary men's and women's basketball teams look to get back to their winning ways with an earlier start than normal when the Marauders host Yellowstone Christian College on Tuesday, Nov. 28. The women's game starts at 5:30 pm with the men's contest to follow at approximately 7:30 pm at the McDowell Activity Center.
 
(NOTE: Tip off for the Marauders-Centurions doubleheader is earlier than the typical weekday start time.)
 
This is the last non-conference game this season for both UMary squads.
 
WOMEN'S FAST BREAK
… The Marauders three-game win streak ended with a loss at Minot State.
 
… The Centurions contest kicks off three straight home games for the Marauders. In addition to Yellowstone, UMary hosts MSU Moorhead on Friday, Dec. 1, and Northern State University on Saturday, Dec. 2.
 
… The Marauders games against Dragons and the Wolves will be televised on BEK Prime throughout the state
 
… The Marauders defeated the Centurions 62-36 last season. Sawyer Kluge and Gabbie Bohl tied for the UMary scoring lead with 12 points each.
 
Gabbie Bohl has posted double figure points in each of the Marauders six games this season. The sophomore post is second in the Northern Sun in scoring (17.8 ppg) and field goal percentage (.661) and 17th in rebounding (6.8 rpg).
 
Dani Williams leads the NSIC in 3-pointers per game (3.2). She is 11th in 3-point shooting percentage (.487) and 17th in scoring (13.0 ppg).
 
MEN'S FAST BREAK
… The Marauders are playing just their second home game of the season when UMary hosts Yellowstone Christian.
 
… The Centurions contest kicks off three straight home games for the Marauders. In addition to Yellowstone, UMary hosts MSU Moorhead on Friday, Dec. 1, and Northern State University on Saturday, Dec. 2.
 
… Last year the Marauders defeated the Centurions 85-53. Damonta Henry scored a game-high 26 points. Current senior forward Trevor Zacher added 16.
 
… The Marauders games against Dragons and the Wolves will be televised on BEK Prime throughout North Dakota
 
… Sr. F Trevor Zacher hit four treys against SD Mines and scored 16 points total. He added 12 points at Minot State and leads the Marauders in scoring at 13.8 ppg. He is 23rd in the NSIC in scoring.
 
… Jr. G Keith Hunter led the Marauders in scoring both games last week while coming off the bench. He scored 17 points against Mines and 13 points at Minot State. Hunter made 10-of-17 shots from the floor and was 8-of-10 at the line. For the year he is 15th in the NSIC in shooting percentage (.571).
 
… Fr. F Wyatt Carr posted a career-high 14 points at Mines and added 10 points against the Beavers. He had back-to-back treys at Minot State to cap a 16-2 run. Carr made 9-of-13 shots in the two games last week, including 5-of-8 behind the arc. For the year Carr is second in the NSIC in field goal percentage (.667) and third in 3-point field goal percentage (.571).
 
… At 1.3 blocks per game, Fr. F Matthew Kreklow is seventh in the NSIC
