Sawyer played in all 31 games, averaging 2.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game. She scored a season high 12 points against Yellowstone Christian College. During a big win against St. Cloud State, Kluge hit a huge three-point basket with five minutes remaining to help seal the deal for the Marauders. Kluge ended the regular season with Bemidji State hitting a big three to help the Marauders receive 4^th place in the NSIC.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
Kluge played at Bremerton High school for Debbie Lindgren. While at Bremerton, she was named all-league on two different occasions and MVP honors her senior year. Sawyer was a four-year starter at Bremerton High School and scored over 1,300 points in her prep career and earning all-league honors each season. A two-time WBCA Junior/Community College All-American, Sawyer Kluge earned first team honors as a sophomore at Umpqua (Ore.) Community College in 2016 after claiming honorable mention recognition as a freshman. She finished her career as the third all-time leading scorer at Umpqua with 1,164 points and is seventh in rebounding with 472. An NWACC All-Star in 2015-16, she averaged 21.0 points/game, 9.8 rebounds/game, 3.7 assists/game and 1.6 steals/game over 33 contests while posting 14 double doubles and one triple double for the Riverhawks. Kluge shot 46 percent from the floor, 36 percent on treys and 78 percent at the free throw line as UCC finished 25-8 overall. As a freshman in 2014-15, Sawyer averaged 14.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game and earned first team all-league honors. She had two double doubles in 32 games and helped UCC post a mark of 27-5 and win a Southern Region championship.

Sawyer is the daughter of Laurie Rocconi and Mark Kluge, and a sister to Zane.  Sawyer is studying nursing and will also study a minor in psychology at the University of Mary. And is a member of the Umpqua Dean's List and Presidential list,
