SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The University of Mary women's volleyball team ended its regular season after a 3-0 (25-17, 25-12 and 25-22) loss to conference foe Sioux Falls Saturday, Nov. 12.

Lauren Randall finished with 10 kills apiece for the Marauders but the Cougars outhit Mary .374 to .103 in the match.

Mary trailed 19-15 late in the first set and four straight points by the Cougars helped them to secure a 25-17 set win.

The second set was not kind to the Marauders as the Blue & Orange hit .000 in the set. USF outscored Mary 19-5 after taking an early 8-7 lead and hit .542 in the set to claim the 25-12 victory.

Mary took a 6-5 lead in the third set but four straight points by the home team and the Cougars never trailed again in the set to claim the set and match victory.

Janell Finkbeiner finished with 24 assists and
Alex Brown led the team in digs with 12 as
Geovana Almeida collected 10.

The Marauders end the 2016 regular season on an eight-match losing streak.
