2014

Appeared in 29 matches with 24 starts. Was the primary driver of the offense as she led the team with 535 assits, averaging 5.88 per set. Also recorded 136 digs, averaging 1.49 per set. She recorded at least 10 assists in 24 games, at least 20 assists in 13 games, and recorded 30 assists in five games during the season, including a season high 38 against Chadron on September 13.

Janell was named to the 2014 NSIC All-Academic Team.

2013

Janell appeared in 86 sets for the Marauders as a freshman across 25 matches with 23 starts.  She led the team with 546 assists while recording seven kills in 37 attacks.  She was also fourth on the team in aces with 11 and helped the Marauders with three solo blocks and nine block assists for a point total of 25.5.  She was also third on the team in digs with 141 to finish out her first year.
 
Janell recorded a season high four of her seven kills in a contest against Minot State on Oct. 22.  She also recorded a season high 52 assists in a win versus Bemidji State, a common theme with her as she recorded at least 11 assists in every game; she also recorded a season high in digs with 18 in the same contest.  She earned two aces in three separate matches, once against Carroll College on Sept. 6, another against Great Falls on Sept. 7, and the third versus Alabama-Huntsville on Sept. 14.  Janell was very active on the net as she also recorded two solo blocks against Carroll College and earned two block assists on two occasions, once against St. Cloud State on Oct. 11, and the other on Nov. 9 against Southwest Minnesota State.
 
Janell also recorded three double-doubles on the season, all for assists and digs; the first against Mount Olive on Sept. 14, the second against Bemidji on Oct. 18, and the third against Sioux Falls on Nov. 8.
