Bismarck, N.D.—Projected cold temperatures on Tuesday in both Minot and Bismarck, and continuing cold in Minot on Wednesday have forced the University of Mary softball team's Northern Sun opener against Minot State University to be moved from Tuesday in Minot to Wednesday in Bismarck.

The games will be the conference opener for both teams. The Marauders (15-9) and Beavers (13-5) squared off back on Feb. 24 at the Minnesota Duluth Invitational in a non-conference showdown. Leading 1-0 heading to the seventh, U-Mary went on to fall 2-1.
 
The games will be played at the U-Mary campus softball fields, with the Marauders serving as the away team on the scoreboard. The doubleheader will begin at 2 p.m. as originally scheduled, with live coverage available at goumary.com/coverage.
