BISMARCK, N.D. - Three Marauders reached double digits in points scored,
Sloan Turner was one point and one rebound shy of her second double double of the season, and the University of Mary won in convincing fashion over Canadian Mennonite University 105-46.

The Marauders started off the game with a hot hand, netting the first eight points of the match before the Blazers finally got on the board. A lot of ball movement and a stingy defense gave U-Mary a comfortable lead through most of the first half, reaching a 35-8 advantage midway through the period.

U-Mary let their starters build a lead before subbing them out late in the half and the Marauders went into the break up 65-18 over the Blazers.

The second half was played in a similar tune to the first, as U-Mary presented a potent attack combined with a balanced defense and Canadian Mennonite never got closer than 40 in the half. The Marauders cruised to a 105-49 victory.

Brittney Dietz led all scorers with 15 points in only eight minutes played. She finished the game shooting 5-6 from the field, 1-2 from beyond the arc, and 4-4 from the line.
Gabby Wilkinson got a lot of playing time off the bench for U-Mary. In 29 minutes she finished with 14 points, six rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal. She ended the game shooting 4-13 from the field, 1-2 from three-point range and 5-6 from the line.

Dani Williams saw a lot of action too as she finished with 13 points, two rebounds, four assists, and one steal. She ended the game shooting 4-6 from the field, 3-4 from three-point land, and 2-2 from the charity stripe.

Turner just narrowly missed her second double double of the season after she finished with nine points and nine rebounds. Six of her rebounds came on the offensive side of the floor and she added two blocks in addition to her 4-8 shooting from the field.

Dani Clarke started the game for the Marauders and she finished with nine points on 3-5 shooting from long range in 11 minutes.

Sheyenne Williams also saw a lot of playing time off the bench as she finished with nine points, three assists and three rebounds in 21 minutes played. She also demonstrated her prowess on all phases of the offense as she finished shooting 3-5 from the field, 2-3 from beyond the arc, and 1-2 from the line.

The Marauder (1-3) will host Canadian Mennonite for another game on Saturday, Nov. 22.
