GAME NOTES: Marauders host Comets in Home Opener, Webcast Changed to Stretch Internet

The University of Mary men's basketball team opens play at home tonight against in-state foe Mayville State University. Game time is 7 PM at the McDowell Activity Center.
 
Not only are the Marauders making their regular season home debut but U-Mary athletics is also making its first webcast with a new partner, Stretch Internet.

Tonight: After opening the 2012-13 regular season last Friday against NCAA Division I foe University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the University of Mary opens its home schedule against NAIA member Mayville State University. Tip off is set for 7 PM at the McDowell Activity Center.
 
Record: U-Mary is 0-1... Mayville State is 3-2.
 
Last Week: The Marauders opened the year with a 76-46 loss at UWM. Marc Musungayi had 10 points and nine rebounds, Josh Turner scored 10 points and Alex Dorr contributed eight points and eight boards… After losing an exhibition game at the University of Sioux Falls 72-41 on Saturday, the Comets rebounded with a 74-68 home win over Trinity Bible College last night.
 
Last meeting: Once regular foes in the North Dakota College Athletic Conference and the DAC-10, the Marauders and the Comets haven't played since December 19, 2008, an 81-57 home win for U-Mary.
