On day one at the Dragon/Cobber Invite, Victoria Murillo posted first place finishes in the 500 free (4:58.97) and the 200 free (1:52.22). Both of those times were good enough for school records! These times also get her NCAA B cuts, which is a provisional qualifying time. Murillo's time in the 500 free currently ranks 12th in nation.

The freshman continued her dominant weekend on day two of the invite. Murillo broke the school record in the 100 free with a time of 52.34 seconds to give herself first place in the event. She followed that up by breaking the school record in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:21.09 to take another first place in the event.

Murillo now owns the fastest times in the NSIC in the 100, 200, and 500 free. She has the second fastest time in the 200 breaststroke.
