The University of Mary Marauders

This week’s NDPF Male Athlete of the Week is Jesse Forknell. Forknell got his first of the season at quarterback for the UMary Football team. Facing a rugged defense led by Ian Marshall and a rushing attack led by Stanley Haskins Jr., Forknell managed to put together some big plays and an inspired drive to end the game on a high note. 

With shades of his week two performance against Sioux Falls, Forknell led an 11-play 85-yard drive that resulted in an eight-yard passing touchdown to Traivon Dyson on a fourth down conversion. Forknell hit Dyson for what was their third score together in two weeks.
