The University of Mary Marauders

This week’s NDPF Female Athlete of the Week is McKenna Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick was a defensive standout in Saturday’s match against the #6 ranked St. Cloud State volleyball team. Though the Marauders fell in three sets to the high-powered Huskies, they put up a hard-fought battle to cap off the home opener weekend in the MAC. 

Entering the game in the second set, Kirkpatrick put on a clinic at the net leading the Marauders with 5.0 total blocks in the match. Kirkpatrick’s 6.0 blocks through three sets on the weekend made her an NSIC weekend stat leader for blocks per set with 2. 

Kirkpatrick is a senior middle hitter from Chapman, KS.
