PRIOR TO U-MARY
A native of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada, Laura Stearns joins U-Mary with an impressive resume at both the high school and club levels. Stearns was named team captain as a senior at Weyburn Comprehensive School. In 2013 Stearns received the All-Star Award and was a member of the Provincial Volleyball Team.
 
A four-year member of the honor roll at Weyburn Comprehensive, Stearns maintains a 3.92 GPA. The daughter of Natalie Bieberdorf and Graham Stearns, Stearns is planning to pursue a degree in nursing at U-Mary.
