PRIOR TO U-MARY
A team captain and a three-year starter at Turtle Lake - Mercer - McClusky High School, Kevin Klemisch is a native of McClusky, N.D., and led his team to a 21-3 record, a District 10 title and third place in Region 5 as a senior in 2012-13. He averaged 17 points, 11.5 rebounds and two blocks per game to earn first team all-district and all-region honors. Klemisch also was named to the district all-tournament team.
 
As a junior in 2011-12, Klemisch averaged 13 points and 12 rebounds per game. He directed the Trojans to a record of 18-6 and received all-district and district all-tournament recognition.
 
The McClusky High School class valedictorian and a four-year honor roll member, Klemisch also earned academic all-state team honorable mention honors. The son of Dan and Deb Klemisch, both of whom are U-Mary graduates, Kevin plans to major in computer information systems.
