2024 (Junior)
Needham went 8-5 overall in #5 singles and 6-2 against NSIC competition. Needham and her partner Luba Moyo went 4-8 in #3 doubles and 4-4 in conference action.

2023 (Sophomore)
Battling past a knee injury early in her sophomore season, Needham went 4-8 overall and 3-5 in the NSIC in singles competition. She finished the year strong winning four of her last five matches. In perhaps her biggest win of the season, Needham defeated Clara Thoemke of Winona State with the season on the line at the NSIC Tournament on April 21. Needham paired with Samantha Purpura in doubles competition going 7-8 overall and 6-4 in the NSIC. Earned CSC Academic All-District Honors. 

2022 (Freshman)
Received NSIC Second Team recognition in doubles competition with Doaa Farouk Mohamed. The pair went 9-2 in number two doubles. Finished the season with a 9-7 record overall in number four singles. Went 6-4 in conference action.

High School
Emily Needham (freshman), 5’7”, graduated from Cheyenne Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  She was on the National Honor Society, DECA, Senate and an AP Scholar with Distinction.  In 2018 was honored with USTA Wyoming Junior female scholar athlete of the year.  In 2021 she was the recipient of the Jim Steadman High School Athletic Award for leadership on and off the court.  A 4 time All State recipient, won back to back Wyoming High School #1 singles State championships in 2019 & 2020.  Emily was captain in her junior & senior year she helped her team achieve a four-peat state team championship 2017-2020. 
 
Personal
She plans to major in exercise science and enjoys traveling, teaching youth & adaptive tennis classes and spending time with friends.
