2021 (Senior)
Kelsey Lajom, a senior, competed in number 4 singles and number two doubles. Lajom went 4-5 overall in singles competition. With her double’s partner Jamie Stoppler, they had an overall record of 7-2 in doubles competition.

2020 (Junior)
Kelsey Lajom, a junior, played 3 singles and 3 doubles her junior year.   Kelsey and partner Kali had an overall record of 6-2 in the conference and 5-3 in singles. She is currently pursuing nursing and is an active member of SAAC.  Kelsey organized a Food Drive for the local soup café. Kelsey enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, binge watching grey’s anatomy, and starting off every morning with an iced caramel macchiato from Starbucks. She recently had the opportunity to study abroad in Rome for a month and had one of the best experiences of her life. 

2019 (Sophomore)
Kelsey Lajom, sophomore, played 3 singles and 3 doubles her sophomore year.   Kelsey and partner Kali had an overall record of 12-5 and 6-2 in the conference.  She is currently pursuing nursing and is an active member of SAAC.  Kelsey enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, binge watching grey’s anatomy, and starting off every morning with an iced caramel macchiato from Starbucks. She recently had the opportunity to study abroad in Rome for a month this summer and had one of the best experiences of her life. 

2018 (Freshman)
Kelsey Lajom, freshman, played 2 & 3 singles and 1 & 2 doubles her freshman year.  She is pursuing a nursing degree and the SACC representative of the team.  She earned the ITA All-American Team award 2018.  She enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, going to the beach, binge watching grey’s anatomy, and starting off every morning with a caramel iced coffee.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
A three-time All-Conference tennis player from Murrieta, Calif., Lajom will join the Marauders after finishing her high school career at Murrieta Valley. Lajom who is a powerful player, played doubles most of the high school career and won the 2016 Southwestern League Doubles Championship and had an undefeated record in the league.
 
Her team won the Southwestern League Championship four years in a row from 2013-2016. She was named the 2014 and 2016 Most Valuable Player in doubles competition and received First Team All-Conference in those same years. She also received 2015 Second Team All-Conference honors and was named 2015 All Inland Valley Girls Honorable Mention.

Personal 
The daughter of Derick and Kathy Lajom, Kelsey will pursue a degree in Nursing while attending the University of Mary.
