PRIOR TO UMARY
Abigail Foster, a Pierre, SD native, played as a midfielder for T.F. Riggs. Foster earned several accolades during her time, she was voted Team Captain by teammates senior year, offensive player of the game at the 2017 and 2018 state AA championship games, 2017 and 2018 AA state champions, junior year- ESD All-conference honorable mention, senior year- ESD All-conference and first team All-state. She played her club soccer with Oahe FC.

When asked why she chose the University of Mary, Foster said “I chose UMARY because, my current high school team is like a family and we are all close to each other. When I came on my visit to Mary I realized that the team had the same family atmosphere that I have had in high school and that is one of the main things that drew me to Mary.”

Foster is the daughter of Jesse and Denise Foster, she also has two siblings, Braedon and Amelia Foster. While at UMARY, she plans to major in Nursing.
