Ryan stepped into the Marauders lineup his first year attending the University of Mary posting a 9-12 record for the season with three pins, and two major decisions. Ryan placed 6^th at the Jamestown open and scored the winning takedown at the Minot State in state rivalry dual, securing the Battle for the Barrel trophy for the Marauders. Ryan’s parents, Shaun and Tammy Stottler, joined an elite group of MAC Mob supporters, being named the 2019 Fans of the Year. We thank the Stottlers for their dedication to and support for Marauders Wrestling.

PRIOR TO UMARY
Ryan Stottler is a native of Glenwood, MN, and a Minnewaska Area High School graduate who has obtained his bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University. A graduate student who is the son of Tammy and Shaun Stottler, he notched 104 career wins in high school and was a runner-up at the 2014 MSHSL State Championships. Stottler is a three-time academic All-Conference team member as a 10^th, 11th and 12th grader in football and wrestling and earned academic All-State honors in 2014. This two-time team captain was voted outstanding wrestler in 2014 and KMGK-Radio Athlete of the Year. While attending SCSU Ryan was a member of the 2015 and 2016 NCAA DII National Championship teams.
