PRIOR TO UMARY
A two-time team most valuable player and already a three-time first team all-conference player, Zac Olson has led Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School to three Gopher Conference championships. As a junior in 2015-16, Olson averaged 24.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. With his senior year remaining, Olson already has scored 1,562 points, hauled down 802 rebounds and blocked 193 shots, all school records. He also plays football and competes in track.
 
The son of David Olson and Lanette and Jeff Ayers, Zac will pursue the pre-law program at the University of Mary.
 
"Zac is my kind of guy!" said Marauders head coach Joe Kittell. "He has a toughness about him that is hard to find in young players. He is a relentless defender and rebounder and is up for any challenge that comes his way. Zac plays with a chip on his shoulder and his size and strength gives him many options at different positions on the floor. We are very excited to reach out of our area to bring Zac to our program."

Zac’s Senior season he led W-E-M to a 26-4 record and a conference championship. He averaged 25.1 ppg, 10.4 rpg, 3.1 apg, and 2.1 bpg while having over 40 points three separate times.  Zac finished his prep career with 2,185 points and 1,024 rebounds while also gaining all-conference status 4x and was 3x all-area player of the year.
