As a first-year defense end played in all 11 games in the defensive line rotation, and work to become a starter by the second half of the season. Finished the season recording 51 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, one pass break up, and one forced fumble. Led team with 13 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
2017
Started in 1 game on the season. Cyrano suffered a season ending injury week 1 against Mankato State but not before he recorded 6 tackles.
2016
As the first linebacker in the rotation he saw action in all 11 games… Had a career day against Winona State University with nine tackles, four solo and five assisted, along with one tackle for loss, and one pass break up… Finished the season recording 41 total tackles, five tackles for loss, one pass break up, and one forced fumble… Led team with 4.5 tackles for loss.
2015
Battling injury most of the year, saw action in two games recording five total tackles and one pass breakup.

Cyrano Rayfield II earned honorable mention all-state honors as a junior in 2012. The all-area and conference most valuable defensive player in 2013, he was a three-time all-conference selection and led his Ottawa Township defensive line with 69 tackles. His junior season the football squad advanced to the quarterfinals. A multi-sport athlete, Rayfield was an AAU wrestling national champion in 2012, a conference champion and all-conference selection at 220 pounds in 2013, and is currently ranked third in the state at 220. The son of Cyrano and Pennie Rayfield, Cyrano intends to major in athletic training at U-Mary.
