PRIOR TO UMARY
In high school, she went to Dickinson Trinity High school where she played for Carter Fong. Alanna led the Titans with 15.6 points per game and 9.4 rebounds per game her senior season and powered Trinity to a state tournament appearance. Alanna was on the All-District Team 2012-2013, All-Region Team 2013-2016, Region 7 Athlete of the year in 2015-2016 season and also was named to the Lions All-Start Team. She helped lead her team to the state tournament bother her junior and senior seasons. As a junior, she was a member of the third place finisher.
While at Trinity, she also compete in volleyball and was named a member All-Region Team 2015-2015. Sickler also competed in track and field.

Alanna is the daughter of Randy and Laura Sickler, and a sister to Jacob, Marcus, Ashley, Ciera and Noah. Her sister Ashley is a University of Mary Alumni.
