2016-2017
Played in 28 of the 31 games during the season. Scored .5 points per game, 1.3 rebounds per game, and 0.2 assists per game. She shot a 26.3 field goal percentage and 75% from the free throw line. She scored a game high 4 points in the game against West Texas A&M. She also ripped down a game high 6 boards during the game vs. West Texas A&M. Isabel was also named to the NSIC All-Academic Team for the season.
 
2015-2016
Isabel played in 31 games, starting 9 of them during the season. She averaged 2.0 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game and .5 assists per game. She scored a season high 8 points vs. Minot State. Ripped down a game high 10 rebounds vs. Augustana. She also finished with 0.5 blocks per game. During the game against #12 Winona state, she added a layup to add to the fire and bring home the win.  Isabel shot 33 percent from the field goal, 20% from the three-point line and 57.1 percent from the free throw line.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
Isabel Schmelzer was the team captain, and a team most valuable player at Baraboo High School where she was 2-time all-conference honorable mention recipient. She helped her team win a conference championship as well as two regional championships. Her junior year she was the defensive player of the year from her high school and averaged 7.0 points, 8.0 rebounds as well as 2.0 assists per game.
 
Isabel was also a 2 time Second team all-conference recipient in cross country, scholar athlete award recipient, conference runner up in track for 2 mile, and 4-year tri sport athlete award recipient. In high school she participated track, cross country, basketball and volleyball. 
 
She is studying a degree in Exercise science and is taking a minor in Spanish. She is the daughter of Steve and Julie Schmeltzer. Her siblings are Alec and Anna. Anna is also on the University of Mary Women’s Basketball Team. Isabel is also on Collegians for life as well as Emerging Leaders Academy.
