2017-2018
Jacob tallied a 6-8 record, featuring four bonus point victories. His season was highlighted with fourth place finishes at the both the Jimmie and Dragon Opens, and a sixth place finish at the DWU Open.
 
2016-2017
As a sophomore he improved to a 6-14 earning 2 major decisions. He proved to be invaluable to the team during the dual meet season by wrestling at multiple weights and not giving any falls. He finished his season at the Super Region 3 tournament 0-2.
 
2015-2016
True freshman campaign he went 3-21 with 21 takedowns and 1 major decision. Jake proved his team spirit by filling in at multiple weight classes throughout the year when his team needed him.  His season came to an end at the Super Region 3 where he went 0-2.
 
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
Expected to wrestle at 174 pounds for the Marauders, Green won the 2015 5A Texas high school 170 pound state wrestling title as a senior. He finished the year 43-1 with 39 pins and became the first state champion at The Colony High School. A three-time state qualifier and two-time state placer, he was named the team's most outstanding wrestler and was the school's outstanding athlete of the year as a senior. Green was sixth in state as a junior, posting a record of 40-6 with 36 pins and three technical falls. He qualified for state as a sophomore and recorded a mark of 43-10 with 34 pins and five technical falls. He was 28-13 as a freshman with 11 pins. For his high school career Green was 154-30 with a school-record 120 pins and eight technical falls. He won three district titles, two regional championships and was a regional runner-up once. Green also lettered twice in football, helping the team to an area title as a senior and earning academic all-state second team honors. An Eagle Scout and a member of the National Honor Society, Jacob is the son of Jeff and Alisa Green and plans to pursue biology and pre-med at U-Mary.
