Biography

As a freshman, Monica played #6 singles and #’s 2 & 3 doubles.

In her sophomore year, was on the study abroad program in Rome and was on the #2 doubles team.

A Member of the Honor’s Program, volunteer with the University Ministry and a Resident Assistant.  She earned the ITA Scholar-Athlete award for 2016 & 2017.

PRIOR TO UMARY
Monica Benda a 5’7” junior graduated from Rocori High School  in Cold Springs, MN where she was on the tennis team for four years and was captain her junior year. At the University of Mary she is majoring in Nursing with a minor in Catholic Studies. Monica enjoys traveling, being outdoors, reading, the wintertime, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
