NSIC All-Academic Team member…Saw action in 6 games at QB this season. McCann had 7 completions on 14 pass attempts for 147 yards and accounted for 2 touchdowns through the air. He finished the season averaging 10.5 yards per completion.

2016
NSIC All-Academic Team member… Saw action in four games, starting three times... McCann finished the season with 423 passing yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions… In a relief effort against MSU Moorhead completed 11-of-15 passes for 128 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions… Passed for a season-high 147 yards against Northern State… Completed 13-of-25 passes for 97 yards against Minnesota Duluth.
