Prior to U-Mary
A team captain in 2014 for Bismarck State College, Rachael Schroeder helped the Mystics to a Mon-Dak conference title in 2013. Schroeder averaged 1.79 kills/set in 36 games last year as BSC finished 20-16. As a freshman, BSC finished 34-8, won the Region XIII championship and advanced to the NJCAA District G championship. In 42 games Schroeder averaged 1.12 kills/set. A second team North Dakota All-State selection as a senior, Schroeder led Dickinson High School to a third place finish at the state tournament in 2012. She was selected to play in the 2013 North Dakota High School Coaches Association Optimist All-Star Matches. The second member of her family to compete for U-Mary, her older brother was a pitcher for the Marauders baseball team. A Mon-Dak All-Academic Volleyball selection, Rachael is the daughter of Annette and Tim Schroeder and intends to pursue an exercise science degree at U-Mary.
