The University of Mary Marauders

Twice a top-four finisher at the South Dakota state cross country meet, Destiny Beautiful Bald Eagle is a four-time team captain for both cross country and track & field (2011-15) and is a three-time team most valuable player (2011-14). Bald Eagle finished third at the at the 2010 South Dakota state cross country meet as an 8^th grader and finished fourth in 2011 as a freshman after posting a personal-best time of 14:56.90. She was a three-time 6A regional champion (2011-13) and a two-time individual LNI champion (2011-12). A first team all-conference selection as a freshman, she was the Big Dakota Champion in 2013. She helped her team to a LNI team championship in 2010-12 and the region 6A team championship in 2011-13. A member of her school's honor roll and the National Honor Society, Destiny is the daughter of Remi Bald Eagle and Desiree Howard and a cousin to current Marauders men's basketball player Darius Sparks. Destiny plans to major in physical therapy at the University of Mary.
