LAKE CITY, MN – University of Mary men's golf finished its first road stint of the season with a 10^th-place finish at the Jewel Invitational. The meet took place at the Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, MN, on Sept. 21 and 22.

Payton Hiller continued his strong start to the season, leading the Marauders in 22^nd with a 149 (+5). He had a great second day, with three birdies to tally a 73 (+1).

Sophomore Ryker Landers was not far behind Hiller, placing 29^th with a 151 (+7). He led the team with five birdies at the tournament.

Dawson Melbo placed 46^th with a 156 (+11). Rounding out the team scoring was Lucas Schoepp, who placed 59^th with a 161 (+16).

Aiden Knodel, who was competing independently and did not contribute to the team scoring, played well and finished 29^th, scoring a 151 (+7). He racked up six birdies across the two days.

UMary Golf will be home next, starting the university's Homecoming Week with the United Printing Marauders Invitational. The meet will be held on Sept. 28 and 29 at Hawktree Golf Club in Bismarck, ND.
