MOORHEAD, MN – The University of Mary women's basketball team fell 76-69 in overtime to Minnesota State University Moorhead on the road. The Marauders sit in 4^th place in the NSIC standings with three games remaining in the schedule.

UMary (20-8, 13-6 NSIC) shot 25-of-65 (38.5%) from the field and 7-of-26 (22.6%) from three, while MSUM (11-12, 8-11 NSIC) went 25-of-74 (36.1%) from the floor and 8-of-24 (33.3%) from behind the arc. The Marauders shot 12-of-16 (75%) from the free-throw line, while the Dragons went 18-of-22 (81.8%) from the charity stripe.

Anna Lenzen recorded first double-double of her career, scoring 12 points and grabbing ten rebounds. Chloe Pfau also grabbed the first double-double of her career after she posted 11 points and ten boards.

Allison Undlin led UMary in scoring with 12 points. The Mohall, ND, native brought down nine rebounds and blocked six shots. Bergan Kinnebrew, who played only 27 minutes due to foul trouble, had 12 points and five rebounds. Emily Jaenke came off the bench to score nine points.

The Marauders offense started off strong, outscoring the Dragons 20-17 in the first quarter. UMary struggled on offense in the second quarter as MSUM took a 29-28 lead going into halftime.

The Dragons would extend their lead to ten halfway through the third quarter, UMary would finish the quarter on an 8-2 run to cut the lead to 46-42. The Marauders showed grit and continued to battle, taking a 57-51 lead with 3:56 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Dragons went on a 6-0 run to end the quarter and sent the game into overtime. Kinnebrew would pick up her fifth foul at the end of the fourth quarter and would not be available for overtime. MSUM outscored UMary 19-12 in the extra period to win 76-69.

The Marauders were outrebounded by the Dragons 47-45. UMary committed 21 turnovers, compared to 17 giveaways by MSUM.

The Marauders travel to Crookston, MN, to compete against the University of Minnesota Crookston on Saturday, February 14, at 1:30 pm.
