FALCON HEIGHTS, MN – The University of Mary men' cross country team had an impressive day at the Roy Griak Invitational, placing 7
th out of 21 teams. That mark is the best at the meet in program history.
Sophomore
Gideon Hammah had a stellar outing, continuously gaining ground on the pack. Hammah was 88
th at the first mile mark of the race and climbed all the way to 4
th at the end of the 8k course. His final time was 26:41.7.
Caleb Hansen was the next-best finisher for UMary in 31
st place at 27:30.9.
Raine Skjod followed in 74
th at 28:20.9.
Nick Lind placed 82
nd in the race with a time of 28:28.2.
Joseph Ringhand rounded out the team scoring in 91
st at 28:35.0.
UMary had the third-best team score of 10 NSIC teams in attendance.

The Marauders will be back in action in two weeks at the SDSU Classic. Edgebrook Golf Course in Brookings, SD, will be the host site of the meet.
