WAYNE, NE – For the second consecutive year, University of Mary men's cross country placed fourth at the Northern Sun Championships. With top-10 finishes,
Caleb Hansen and
Gideon Hammah led the way as All-NSIC First Team athletes.
Hansen reached the All-NSIC First Team mark for the third consecutive season, this time with a 6
th-place finish. His time of 25:19.42 was his best of the season and was just over 20 seconds off of the overall winner's pace.
Hammah earned a top-10 finish, placing 9
th at 25:28.69, a 10-spot improvement of his conference finish as a freshman last year.
Senior
Raine Skjod was next for the Marauders in 32
nd with a time of 26:28.75. He was followed by
Nick Lind in 41
st at 26:50.58, who is in his first college cross country season. Rounding out the team scoring was another cross country newcomer,
Joseph Ringhand, in 57
th with a 27:19.58.

Up next for the Marauders will be the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships. The meet will be held on Nov. 8 at the Tom Rutledge XC Course in Joplin, MO.
