MINOT, ND – A dominant performance by the University of Mary volleyball team saw the Marauders sweep Montana State University Billings and Brandon University 3-0 on the final day of the 1st International Bank Homecoming Classic.

UMary (3-5 overall) combined for 81 kills while their opponents combined for 68. Judith Burke and Dani Highum both had double-digit kills in each of the Marauders wins. Natalie Boehmer recorded 64 assists over the two matches, averaging 10.6 assists per set.

UMary vs MSUB
UMary went one three 5-0 runs or better in the first set, including a 6-0 run to win 25-16. The Marauders trailed 23-20 in the second set but would take down six of the next seven points to win 26-24. A block by Judith Burke and Shea Barron clinched the set for UMary.

The third set went back and forth as both teams exchanged leads. With the score tied at 19, the Marauders went on a 5-0 run to take a commanding lead. BHSU won the next two points, but a service error sealed a match victory for UMary.

Judith Burke dominated with 16 kills on an excellent .389 hitting percentage. Burke also put up 12 digs.

Natalie Boehmer led the team with 36 assists. Boehmer would add nine digs and four blocks.

Dani Highum recorded 13 kills on a .346 attack percentage and 13 digs.

Katie Bleeker posted a team-high 16 digs.

Gabby Caskey had five aces and three blocks.

Shea Barron added four blocks.

UMary Vs BU
BU held an 8-7 lead in the first set before the Marauders went on an 8-0 run to cruise to a 25-18 victory.

Judith Burke recorded seven kills in the second set as the Marauders cruised to a 25-19 win. Dani Highum led the way with five kills in the third set as UMary dominated with a 25-15 victory.

Judith Burke led the team with 13 kills on a .321 attack percentage.

Jenna Lansing recorded a team-best 14 digs and six kills.

Dani Highum posted 12 digs, 10 kills and four aces.

Natalie Boehmer dished out 28 assists.

Shea Barron had five kills and three blocks.
