Ilona Freitag became the all-time wins leader for the University of Mary tennis team (5-8, 4-3 NSIC) as the Marauders lost 5-2 to the University of Sioux Falls (5-11, 4-2 NSIC).
Freitag earned her 72
nd win, surpassing Tasha Dembo (71) for the most in UMary history. The Le Locle, Switzerland, native has 36 wins in doubles competition and 36 victories in singles matches.
UMary dropped doubles competition 2-1, earning USF one team point.
Chloe Chong Zhi Jing and
Ilona Freitag won 6-4 in #1 doubles over Chloe Siegfort and Sofiya Janos.
Maria Estinvil and
Anna Sueflohn fell in #2 doubles 6-4 to Sydney Osburn and Ella Hancock.
Valeria Bradley and
Luba Moyo lost 6-2 in #3 doubles to Jaelyn Haler and Emma Rangel.
Chloe Chong Zhi Jing was victorious in #1 singles, defeating Chloe Siegfort 7-6, 6-0.

Valeria Bradley was defeated in a hard-fought match in #5 singles to Emily Thinnsen 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Luba Moyo dropped #6 singles 6-0, 6-0 defeat to Jaelyn Haler in #6 singles.
