GRAND FORKS, ND – The University of Mary tennis team (5-9, 4-4 NSIC) fell 5-2 in their contest against the University of Minnesota Crookston (7-7, 4-4 NSIC).
UMary won doubles competition 2-1, earning the Marauders one team point.
Chloe Chong Zhi Jing and
Ilona Freitag took down in #1 doubles 6-2 over Daniela de Lucas Rivera and Ariadna Solis Guals.
Maria Estinvil and
Anna Sueflohn won #2 doubles 6-2 over Blaike Zander and Asli Oktay.
Valeria Bradley and
Luba Moyo fell 6-2 in #3 doubles to Kavya Singh and Nadia Cases Mundet.
Ilona Freitag earned a hard-fought victory over Asli Oktay 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in #2 singles.
Chloe Chong Zhi Jing was defeated 6-2 6-2 #1 singles by Daniela de Lucas Rivera.
Maria Estinvil lost a close contest 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 in #3 singles to Nadia Cases Mundet.
Anna Sueflohn dropped #4 singles 7-5, 6-4 to Ariadna Solis Guals.
Valeria Bradley came up short 6-2, 6-4 in #5 singles to Blaike Zander.
Luba Moyo fell in #6 singles 6-3, 6-2 to Kavya Singh.
