LITCHFIELD PARK, AZ – The UMary women's golf's second tournament in a six-day span came to an end today, with the Marauders placing 13
th at the SMSU Classic. Junior
Carrie Carmichael had a strong outing with a 16
th-place finish individually.
It was a significant improvement for Carmichael, who shot a 160 (+20) at the Wigwam Resort Blue Course just days after finishing with a 171 (+31) on the same course. Her first round at the SMSU Classic was superb, as her 77 (+7) had her in 6
th place individually at the end of yesterday's play.
Grace Stroh had an excellent second day to jump 16 spots in the standings on day 2, landing in 33
rd with a score of 165 (+25).
Annie Neva ended the tournament with a 170 (+30), finishing in 54
th place.
Ruby Heydt rounded out the team scoring at 177 (+37) in 60
th place.

Up next for the Marauders will be a trip to South Dakota for the 2025 Hardrocker Spring Invite. The tournament is hosted by the South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City, SD, from Mar. 31 to Apr. 1.
