BISMARCK, ND - The #11 University of Mary wrestling team's (7-7, 5-4 NSIC) wrapped up their 2024-25 regular season with a 28-7 defeat to #1 St. Cloud State University (14-0, 9-0 NSIC).
The dual opened with a pinfall victory for the Huskies at 125 pounds. #1
Reece Barnhardt got the Marauders back on track at 133 pounds with an impressive 13-3 major decision over Caleb Meekins.

Sean Solis put UMary up 7-6 in the dual after he defeated #13 Alyeus Craig by a 4-1 decision at 141 pounds.
Trae Thilmony competed well at 149 pounds but fell by a 5-0 decision to #13 Colby Njos. SCSU went up 13-7 in the dual after #1 Joel Jesuroga won a major decision at 157 pounds over
Kaden Renner.
Leo Mushinsky pushed hard for a late takedown against #3 Nick Novak but came up short in a 6-3 decision at 165 pounds.
Wyatt Lidberg lost by a 6-3 decision in a tough battle at 174 pounds against #2 Bryce Dagel.
An early takedown by
Dante Roggio would not be enough, falling by an 11-4 decision to #9 Bryce Fitzpatrick at 184 pounds. The 197-pound weight class saw
Matthew Kaylor lose 8-1 to #2 Dominic Murphy.
The dual ended at 265 pounds as
Luke Tweeton fell by a 4-1 decision to La'Ron Parks.
The Marauders gear up for the NCAA Super Regional V in Sioux Falls, SD, on March 1. The wrestlers who finish in the top three in each weight class advance to the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.
