Undlin, Pfau dominant in Marauders 73-44 win over ThunderWolves

BILLINGS, MT – Dominant performances by Allison Undlin and Chloe Pfau helped lead the University of Mary women's basketball team (3-0) to an impressive 73-44 victory over Colorado State University Pueblo (1-2) at the Tip-Off Classic at the Trailhead.

UMary is 3-0 to open the season for the first time in the NCAA era. The Marauders outscored their opponents 222-163 at the Tip Off Classic.

Allison Undlin dropped a career-high 19 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field. Undlin also dominated in the paint, blocking four shots and grabbing five rebounds.

Chloe Pfau had 16 points, shooting 4-of-9 from behind the arc. Pfau recorded a team-high nine rebounds while also contributing three assists.

Bergan Kinnebrew showcased her versatility by dishing out eight assists, while also adding seven points and six rebounds. Eden Fridley posted seven points and four assists. Anna Lenzen had eight points, five rebounds, and three steals.

Grace Richardson led all bench scorers with five points in just four minutes of action. Chloe Nuss had five rebounds to go along with three points and two steals off the bench.

UMary grabbed an early 8-0 lead to start the game and held a 13-8 advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Marauders extended their lead to 28-17 going into halftime.

CSU Pueblo cut the lead to four points midway through the third quarter. UMary responded with an 18-4 run to end the third quarter with a 50-32 lead. The Marauders continued their great play in the fourth quarter and cruised to a 73-44 win.

UMary shot 30-of-64 (47.6%) from the field and 9-of-23 (39.1%) from three, while the CSU Pueblo went 14-of-54 (25.9%) from the floor and 1-of-16 (6.3%) from behind the arc.

The Marauders shot 4-of-9 (44.4%) from the free-throw line, while the ThunderWolves went 15-of-18 (83.3%) from the charity stripe. UMary outrebounded CSU Pueblo 43-35.

The Marauders travel to Sioux Falls, SD, to take on the University of Central Missouri on Friday, November 14, at 1 pm.
