JAMESTOWN, ND – The University of Mary men's cross country team competed Friday morning at the Jimmie Invitational, placing 5
th in a field that featured a pair of Division I schools. All five point-scorers for the Marauders had season-best times.
Gideon Hammah continued his excellent season with his third top-5 finish in as many races. The sophomore crossed the finish line at the 8k Parkhurst Cross Country Course of 25:00.6, placing 5
th as the top Division II competitor in the field.
Caleb Hansen followed in 14
th with a time of 25:23.6.
The next three Marauders were grouped closely as
Gavin Artner (38
th, 26:34.3),
Nick Lind (43
rd, 26:39.5), and
Raine Skjod (45
th, 26:41.6) rounded out the team scoring. Lind's time was a personal best by nearly two minutes.
