WAYNE, NE - The University of Mary volleyball team (2-10, 0-4 Northern Sun) fell short against #8 Wayne State College (10-2, 4-0 NSIC) losing all three sets 25-19, 25-11, 25-11.
Charli Blackman had her best performance in NSIC action as she recorded 14 kills on a .353 attack percentage. Her 14 kills are the most that Blackman has had since September 6, when she posted 15 kills against Fort Hays State.
Blackman posted eight kills in the first set as WSC would take it down 25-19. UMary would drop the second and third sets 25-11 as WSC secured the match victory.
The Wildcats held a big advantage over the Marauders in errors committed as WSC made five total errors, while UMary had 17.

Charli Blackman posted her fourth double-double of the season with 14 kills and 11 digs.
Maddy Freed recorded 33 assists, the most that she's had in NSIC action.
Kaia Sueker led the Marauders in digs with 14.
Gabby Caskey had seven kills.
Chloe Solheid put up ten digs.

The Marauders head back home for homecoming weekend as they will challenge Winona State University on Friday, October 4, at 6 pm in the McDowell Activity Center. UMary then takes on Concordia University, St. Paul on Saturday, October 5, at 5 pm.
