BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary volleyball team was unable to overcome the #15
th ranked Wayne State College as the Marauders fell in three sets (25-12, 25-12, 25-17) to the Wildcats.
UMary (4-21, 2-15 Northern Sun) recorded 26 kills on a .017 attack percentage, while WSC (21-6, 13-4 NSIC) had 36 kills on a .245 attack percentage. The Wildcats posted nine blocks to the Marauder three. WSC held a 57-52 advantage over the Marauders on digs.
The Wildcats took control early in the first set and did not relinquish their lead, winning 25-12. The second set played out in a similar fashion as the Wildcats grabbed an early lead and would take it down 25-12.
UMary responded in the third set by taking a 10-9 lead. WSC would go on a 6-1 run to take the lead and finish on a 7-1 run to win 25-17.

Gabby Caskey contributed nine kills and eight digs.
Maddy Freed recorded double-digit assists (24) and digs (12).
Kaia Sueker put up 13 digs.
Reyna Isenbart had five kills and four digs.
Maddie Cooper had five kills on a .333 hitting percentage and two blocks.

The Marauders wrap up their 2024 season at home against the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday, November 16, at 3:30 pm at the McDowell Activity Center.
