ST CLOUD, MN – The University of Mary volleyball team fell in three sets (25-15, 25-13, 25-17) against #3 St. Cloud State University.
UMary (4-18, 2-12 Northern Sun) fell behind early in the first set and never recovered as SCSU (20-2, 14-0) took it down 25-15. The second set saw more dominance from the Huskies as they won 25-13.
The third set was more competitive as both teams were even at 16-16. SCSU finished the set on a 9-1 run to win the set (25-17) and the match.
The Marauders struggled in attack, recording 16 kills on a .011 attack percentage. The Huskies had 45 kills on a .259 hitting percentage. UMary recorded six blocks, while SCSU posted five.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Reyna Isenbart had seven kills and three blocks.
Kaia Sueker posted ten digs.
Charli Blackman put up eight digs and four kills.
Maddy Freed recorded 14 assists and four digs.
