DULUTH, MN – The University of Mary volleyball team fell short in their match against the University of Minnesota Duluth, falling in three sets (25-15, 25-5, 27-25).
UMary (4-19, 2-13 Northern Sun) got off to a slow start in the first set as UMD (14-9, 7-8 NSIC) won 25-15. The Bulldogs remained dominant in the second set, winning 25-5.
The Marauders regained their form in the third set as
Robi Binagi came off the bench to deliver five kills with zero attacking errors. The final set was tight as the score was tied at 25-25, UMD claimed the final two points to win 25-27 and take home the match.
UMary recorded 25 kills on a .083 hitting percentage, while UMD had 56 kills on a .394 hitting percentage. The Bulldogs posted 12 blocks, while UMary only had two.

Reyna Isenbart had seven kills and two blocks.
Maddy Freed put up 20 assists and nine digs.
Kaia Sueker led the team in digs with ten.
Charli Blackman recorded nine digs and three kills.
Robi Binagi had five kills in only one set.
