DULUTH, MN – A 31-point performance by Lexie Schneider helped lead the University of Mary women's basketball team to an impressive 77-66 road victory over the University of Minnesota Duluth. With this win, UMary extends its winning streak to four games.

th coaching win at the University of Mary for Marauders Head Coach
Rick Neumann, tying him with Fred Fridley for the second-most coaching wins in team history. Neumann succeeded Fridley as the Marauders head coach in 2012. The duo worked side-by-side for nine seasons during Fridley's tenure as head coach. The all-time record for wins is 234 by Roger Haug.
Schneider scored a season-high 31 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field while grabbing seven rebounds. The Appleton, WI, native did a great job drawing fouls going 11-of-16 from the free throw line.
Mariah McKeever scored 18 points on 6-of-13 shooting and grabbed six boards.
Megan Zander had 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals.
Ryleigh Wacha dropped 11 points while grabbing four rebounds and three steals.
Addison Rozell had a good night distributing the ball as she dished out six assists.
The Marauders got off to a slow start, trailing the Bulldogs 23-14 after the first quarter. McKeever scored 13 of her 18 points in the second quarter to help UMary close UMD's lead to 37-35 going into halftime.
The Marauders kept their momentum going in the third quarter as they shot over 58% from the field to take a 52-47 lead. UMary did not let up in the 4
th quarter as the Marauders earned a 77-66 victory.
UMary (9-6, 5-2 Northern Sun) shot 48.2 percent from the field while shooting 3-of-13 from behind the arc. UMD (9-3, 5-3 NSIC) recorded a 37.9 shooting percentage from the field while going 6-of-16 from three.
The Marauders went 20-of-28 from the free throw line, while the Bulldogs shot 16-of-18 from the charity stripe. UMary won the rebounding battle 35-31 over UMD.
The Marauders travel to St. Paul, MN, to take on Concordia University, St. Paul (10-3, 6-2 NSIC) on Saturday, January 6, at 5:30 pm.
