MOORHEAD, MN - The University of Mary Men's Cross Country team showed their grit in the Marauders first meet of the 2023 season at the MSU Moorhead 8th Annual Dragon Twilight Invitational. With determination and teamwork, the Marauders put in a solid performance as a trio of Marauders claimed top 10 finishes.

Guillermo Fregoso led the charge for UMary. The all-conference runner finished 7th with a strong performance, completing the 6000 meter course in a brisk 18:44.80.

In his first collegiate race, freshman
Caleb Hansen claimed 7
th place, a scant 0.90 seconds behind he veteran Fregoso.
Caleb Hansen, a sophomore from Dickinson, ND, and Eli's older brother, finished 9
th with a clocking of 18.49.60.
