ST. PAUL, MN - The University of Mary Women's Basketball team (11-8, 10-6 NSIC) scored 17 points off the bench but couldn't muster much offensive rhythm in a 58-49 defeat to Concordia-St. Paul (10-10, 7-9 NSIC) Saturday night.Â
Megan Zander opened the scoring with a layup on the Marauders first offensive possession.
Ryleigh Wacha then gave the Marauders a two-score lead at the 6:36 mark. The first quarter ended 10-8 CSP, with neither team making more than three shots.Â
Megan Voit knocked down a pair of treys in the second quarter to help give the Marauders a one-score edge at halftime, 18-16.Â
Jalyn Shaw and Ally Gietzel combined for 11 points in the third quarter to retake control of the game 33-26 entering the final ten minutes.Â
Ryleigh Wacha hit a big three-pointer to start the fourth quarter and get the Marauders back within two scores.
Addison Rozell would later make it a one-point game 37-36 at 4:55 to go with a layup and one free throw after taking a foul.Â
However, the Golden Bears would slowly pull away from the Marauders while making the most on the trips to the free throw line, hitting 15-16 in the fourth quarter. CSP would win with a modest 58-49 final score. UMary shot 16-57 (28.1%) in the game and were outrebounded by CSP 45-37.Â

Megan Voit's trio of threes gave her the team-high nine points. Voit also grabbed six rebounds.
Megan Zander added eight points, four rebounds, and blocked two shots.Â
Ryleigh Wacha had seven points, four rebounds, and a steal.Â
Addison Rozell,
Moriku Hakim, and
Reese Wishart each scored six points. Rozell had the team-high in rebounds with nine.Â
