BEMIDJI, MN – Despite two solid starts from pitchers Hannah Chambers and Nicole Eckhardt, the University of Mary softball team (5-29, 3-11 Northern Sun) fell in their doubleheader to Bemidji State University (10-28, 7-11 NSIC).

BSU grabbed a 3-0 in the top of the third inning.
Sariah Perez scored the Marauders only run on the day in the bottom of the third inning after she hit a solo home run to left field. The Beavers tacked on two more insurance runs to secure a 5-1 win for BSU.
Hannah Chambers pitched all seven innings and allowed five runs while striking out two batters.
