FARGO, ND – The University of Mary tennis team (9-6, 8-3 Northern Sun) concluded their 2022 regular season in style as UMary shut out the University of Minnesota Crookston 7-0.

The Marauders did not lose a single set in doubles competition and earned a point after sweeping their matches.
Chloe Chong and
Ilona Freitag took home the victory in number one doubles, winning 6-0.
Doaa Farouk Mohamed and
Emily Needham took home a 6-0 win in number two doubles.
Callie McDonald and
Heidi Jacobson won in number three doubles, 6-0.
Chong got the Marauders started winning 6-1, 6-2 in number one singles as she defeated Maddi Schneider.
In number two singles, Freitag shut down Michelle Swyter 6-0, 6-0.
Mohamed continued her excellent season as she defeated Sarah Velasquez 6-0, 6-0 in number three singles.
In number four singles, Needham shined against Tasha Achermann, winning 6-0, 6-1.
Jacobson was excellent in number five singles, winning 6-1, 6-0 over Samantha Gutierrez.
McDonald concluded the match for UMary as she defeated Ashley Chomyn 6-4, 6-2 in number six singles.
