SIOUX FALLS, SD - The University of Mary tennis team (5-0, 5-0 Northern Sun) continues their unbeaten start to the season as UMary defeated the University of Sioux Falls (4-3, 3-3 NSIC).

The Marauders won two out of their three doubles matches.
Chloe Chong and
Ilona Freitag lost number one doubles 6-3.
Doaa Farouk Mohamed and
Emily Needham came up huge in number two doubles, winning 7-5.
Heidi Jacobson and
Callie McDonald earned UMary a point after taking home a 6-1 win in number three doubles.
Chong excelled in number one singles, defeating Megan Quandt 6-3, 6-1.
Freitag took home the win over Talia Janos in number two singles 7-6, 6-0.
In number three singles, Mohamed defeated Daniell Thorfinnson by retirement after Mohamed won the first set 6-0. Mohamed remains undefeated in singles competition.
Needham was victorious in number four singles over Joelle Thorfinnson 6-2, 6-0.
Jacobson fell to Emily Thinnsen in number five singles 6-0, 6-1.
McDonald wrapped up the match for UMary as she was defeated in number six singles to Katelyn Nesheim 6-0, 6-4.
