FARGO, ND - The University of Mary tennis team (4-0, 4-0 Northern Sun) continues their excellent start to the season as UMary took down the University of Minnesota Duluth (2-5, 2-4 NSIC) 6-1.

The Marauders won two of their three doubles matches.
Chloe Chong and
Ilona Freitag took home number one doubles 6-1.
Doaa Farouk Mohamed and
Emily Needham were victorious number two doubles 6-0.
Heidi Jacobson and
Callie McDonald fell in number three doubles, losing 2-6.
Chong came out on fire in number one singles, defeating Shay Callaway 5-1, 6-4.
Freitag kept the momentum going for UMary in number two singles, winning 6-1, 6-0 over Isabel Resler.
Mohamed remains undefeated in number three singles with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Abby Johnson.
Needham pitched a shutout in number four singles, defeating Laura Palmer 6-0, 6-0.
In number five singles Jacobson took down Amanda Hanowski 6-3, 6-2.
Wrapping things up for UMary was McDonald, who fell in number six singles to Olivia Honsey 6-4, 4-6, 0-1.
