BISMARCK, ND - It was a historic night for the #20 University of Mary wrestling team (9-1, 3-1 Northern Sun) as they took down #17 Minnesota State University – Mankato (1-2, 1-2 NSIC) 25-11 for the first time in program history. MSU had been 12-0 against UMary before today's win.
Kicking things off for the Marauders was
Jaden Verhagen (125), who earned a spectacular 5-2 decision victory over #10 Trenton McManus.

Reece Barnhardt (133) would keep the momentum going for UMary as he earned a 5-1 decision win over Brock Luthens.
Laken Boese (141) would lose via a 15-7 major decision to Kolbe O`Brien.
Trevor Fauver (149) earned the Marauders six points after he won by forfeit.

Braydon Huber (157) grinded out a 3-0 decision win over Cooper Siebrecht.
Leo Mushinsky (165) earned a 7-3 decision win over Brody Nielsen after Mushinsky secured a last-second takedown.

Max Bruss (174) would fall to #8 Trevor Turriff by a 7-2 decision.
Wyatt Lidberg (184) showcased his skills as he won an 11-3 major decision over Gavin Christoffersen.
